As a Software Oversight Engineer - Gateway Spacecraft you will:
- Establish and maintain positive, constructive relations with spacecraft module vendors.
- Perform spacecraft module vendor contract oversight.
- Perform requirements review, analysis and updating.
- Track change requests, action items and other requirements process metrics.
- Develop an intimate knowledge of the system design.
- Work in an Agile, fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication, negotiation and coordination skills and strong customer service attitude.
- Perform other duties as required.
Qualifications -
Required Education/Experience/Skills:

- BS degree in engineering from an accredited engineering school and a minimum of fourteen (14) years of direct
engineering experience, or a MS degree from an accredited engineering school and twelve (12) years of direct
engineering experience, or Ph.D. degrees and nine (9) years direct engineering experience.
- Experience working as part of an Integrated Product Team to develop avionic systems.
- Experience with aerospace vendor contract oversight.Experience with requirements management.
- Experience with web-based collaboration tools.
- Must have DOORS experience.
- Proficiency with C/C++ coding in a Linux environment.
- Should be a quick learner and self-motivated.
- Excellent communication, negotiation and coordination skills and strong customer service attitude.
Preferences:
- Proficiency with scripting languages such as Python.
- Software project management experience.
- Experience developing software across the full development life cycle.
- Knowledge of the NASA Gateway Spacecraft systems and software.
- Experience with the following web-based collaboration tools.- JIRA.

Essential Functions
Work Environment
Generally an office environment, but can involve inside or outside work depending on task.
Physical Requirements
Work may involve sitting or standing for extended periods (90% of time). May require lifting and carrying up to 25 lbs (5%
of time).

Attendance
Regular attendance in accordance with established work schedule is critical. Ability to work outside normal schedule and
