In your role as an Engineering Technician, you will directly support a variety of Department of Defense weapon systems programs by providing critical test range instrumentation  You will apply your electronics knowledge to build, install, test, and operate several custom instrumentation systems.

• High school diploma or GED and one (1) year of applicable experience in engineering technical work involving skills in measurements using test instruments and computing.
• Fundamental understanding and training in circuit theory, analog and digital electronics, transistors, diodes, fiber optics, networking, RF, and soldering.
• Experience and/or completed coursework/training using multi-meters, oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, power supplies, functional generators, high speed data acquisition equipment, and sensors (thermocouples, accelerometers, and strain gages).
• Demonstrated ability to work from schematics or verbal direction and execute test operations.
• Record of complying with safety guidelines.
• Microsoft Office (Excel, Word and PowerPoint) experience, to include ability to prepare informal reports.
• Must be capable of lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to pass Explosive Certification Level II.
• Capable of working in a hazardous environment.
• Ability to work well in a team environment and demonstrate a strong work ethic.
• Motivated self-starter and organized.
• Be reliable and punctual to work.
• Be willing to work outside in varying weather conditions.
• Capable of supporting some shift work and travel.

• Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret Government security clearance.

• Must be a US Citizen.

• Associate of Science degree in Electronics –OR—

High School Diploma and successful completion of sixteen (16) weeks of civilian or military training in electronics or basic instrumentation techniques and one (1) year of experience.
