Attack/UAS Flight Test Engineer

Your role:

In your role as a Flight Test Engineer, you will directly support planning, execution and real-time safety-of-flight and data quality monitoring, data analysis, and reporting for developmental and/or operational tests of AH64D/E and/or Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS) software and hardware insertions and integration as well as contributing to and documenting flight operations and test development knowledge.



What you’ll do all day:

  • Work as part of a team of engineers and technicians.
  • Develop and write test plans, analyze results, and write test reports in support of AH-64 and/or UAS testing.
  • Support multiple projects in parallel in an environment that changes quickly in response to customer needs.
  • Communicate with the engineering team and customers to discover and develop requirements with the goal of optimizing current and future designs.

Minimum requirements for this position:

  • BS degree in computer information systems or aeronautical, aerospace, mechanical, computer, software, or electrical engineering required.
  • Must be able to effectively communicate orally and in writing with Military, Government, and contractor personnel.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret Government security clearance.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain an FAA Class III Medical Certificate.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license.
  • Must be a US Citizen.


Desired skills and experience for this position:

  • Practical test experience in UAS, rotary- or fixed-wing aircraft is desired.
  • MS degree in any of the above-mentioned disciplines is desired.
